Pre-K/TK Class

Our Pre-K/TK Class at Sunshine Kids is 3 days a week, and is designed for 3-4 year olds. It is our goal to prepare your child for TK and/or Kindergarten. We continue to work on social skills, while we strive to make them kindergarten-ready- emphasizing letters, letter sounds, numbers and basic sight words.

Just like our preschool class, each day starts off with free play and table time designed for learning. This is a perfect way to get the children warmed up for a morning of learning and play! We have a structured circle time, where we start with a welcome song, the calendar, Walter our weatherman, story time and more. Then we have snack, and lots of outside time! When we come back inside, we work on our writing, learning journals and art, and end with a closing circle time, filled with music and movement.
